MobileMe and hacked 3GS

    I have an iPhone 3GS running the 3.0.1 software and the 04.26.08 firmware. I jailbroke it and unlocked it by following the guide on iClarified and it's working well with Vodafone.

    However I have just signed up to MobileMe and I know I need to somehow add that/install that on the iPhone. The thing is that I haven't updated the phone to the latest software as I know I will lose my unlock. But I'm wondering if MobileMe will let me set the thing up if it doesn't have the latest software on the phone.

    I haven't tried to set this up yet but I wanted to get a bit of info from others first.

    I don't think you need to install anything, pretty sure I didn't have to with my MobileMe account. Just enter your account info into the Mail section of the Settings app and choose what you want to sync.
