    Hi all,
I hurt my foot a few months back playing football so I went to physio to get it looked at. While I was there the physio recommended I get custom orthotics because my feet over-pronate quite a bit. So I followed her advice and went and got them (flippin expensive too I might add). I have been trying to were them for the last two weeks and there just so uncomfortable. There just big lumps of plastic im putting in shoes and there is no give in them.
She says I just have to get used to them but I cant wear them. I can walk in them for a while a its not too bad but there is no way I can run in them let alone play soccer.
Anyone else have a pair of these and could lend me there thoughts

You have to build up the time you spend in them i.e. an hour the first day rising up to 10 or 12th day where you're wearing them all day. You should be quite comfortable in them just doing normal things before you try playing football in them or running.

    Hiya

I had a bulging disc a couple of years back and after tryin a lot of things, I was reccommened by a physio to try these.

I got a pair initially and after about a week I was playing hurling in them no problem.

I went back and got rescanned since and bout a normal wear pair and a sports pair as I wore my other ones to bits.

What I would say to you is to just start playing in them after about a week. Your calves may be sore for a week or so but then they are fine, thats how it worked for me anyway.

Make sure you rip the inside soles out of your boots, right down to having to tear it out like.
