    Hi,

I have just changed from one course to another in my college and I'm wondering if this will affect the grant?

If you are first year student it won't affect it. Although just gt on to whoever awards the grant and inform them of your course choice. If you were a 2nd year and changed back to a 1st year course you lose your grant for year 1

    Yeah Doc has it right.

If e.g. you were in 1st year of say Arts and moved sideways to 1st year of Social Science that would be fine (same level degree plus same year). This can happen a bit at the start of the year when students change early in the 1st year.

If you were in 2nd year Arts and changed to 1st Social Science you wouldnt be eligible for grant for the 1st Social Science.

Would need more details really to tell you.

    Thanks for the replies:)

Ya the course I've moved to is the same level as the one I was in so I presume everything will be ok!
