Eye Test

    Going to learn to drive soon.

    I'm just wondering what the eye tests involve. Is there a colour vision test? How long is the test? Where is it done?

    Just to clarify, I'm 99.99% sure my vision's perfect. Just curious.

    do it in any opticians and it'll only take about 10 mins,

    color is on it too with some of the usual eye test stuff

    they'll give you a cert to give to the gardi.

    ah i remember correctly now.

    it was all done by the optician alright but the gardi still took it to have a look at it anyway..... it was the two passports photos that were signed when i presented my passport to them and that.

    it was about year ago at this stage. i got the forms from the garda station but something was signed by them.

    unless im thinking of when i was getting my passport :confused:
