    so now for the third.

two threads today on cycling tax and insurance,

what about a NBT (National Bicycle Test)

Test the structure of the bike for safety, seat belts, catalytic converters and so on :rolleyes::rolleyes:

bicycles dont need any of this crap, if the government were to introduce these 3 then everybody would be more liable to revert to their cars for everyday usage.

    pointless !

I figured if I said a riding test it might go off topic.

Yes, can we have a poll on which was the best poll of the day. I think I'd be undecided.

We definitely need a poll on whether it's licence or license.

meh, too many idiots are allowed to use the internet and cycle. I would vote for quotas: only so many idiots are allowed on the internet and same idea for cycling.
Also, the idiot who is allowed on the internet as well as being allowed to cycle should pay an 'idiot tax'. The tax would need to be paid twice for internet use and cycling.

Does that mean we need an idiot test?

Well, that could be decided by the E.D.G.I.T. ( the Expert Detection of Global Idiots Test - Pronounced edjit) headed by the Idiot Board of Ireland branch and conducted by Idiot expert ( not to be confused with a expert idiot ).

We would need a idiot census to determine the number of potencial idiots to be accessed, on the day of the census. The E.D.G.I.T. can be conducted very quickly without the Idiot even noticing the test has been carried out.
