Gonna be down that way during mid-term and we're thinking of doing a couple of days out on the bikes. No on-road allowed 'cos the kids aren't sufficiently au fait with traffic.

My bike is on 700x28 tyres so it's not suited to dirt-track stuff. Any suggestions for places to go?

I was thinking of the likes of Lough Key Forest Park or Birr Castle or similar. Nothing too heavy, 1hr to 90min at novice pace sort of thing...
