Room drylining and Insulation Quote - too High?

I'm looking to get an idea of cost for insulating and drylining a room plus some bathroom plumbing.

The walls of the room are made from mass concrete so need to insulate it well.

I have received a quote for drylining and plastering. Also putting in a partition wall to create a bathroom and associated plumbing. Also putting up a new ceiling and insulation.

    The room is 18'4" x 10'4" x 8'4" (L x W x H).

The quote I received is €10,000 (not including bathroom ware)

Seems high to me. Can anyone give me an idea if this is realistic?

Also, if anyone has recommendations as how best to insulate mass concrete walls, I'd love to hear them!!

Re; insulating a mass concrete wall, first thick plastic, then ballons then insulated plaster board, then plaster..

I was thinking it was very high based on doing some sums, say 20 plasterboards @ €50 a piece would be €1000. Find it hard to believe the whole thing would be €10,000 even with top class builders, which they are in fairness.

Get at least two other quotes from recommended tradesmen.

Drylining and plastering a bathroom with some basic plumbing should not cost 10k nowadays.

As a comparison I'm getting a 400m2 roof built, including installation of 5 velux, stripping an original 100m2 roof of tiles, battens and felt, counterbattening inside, slating outside etc for 11.5k labour

10k is too high for your job at first glance, no matter who the builder is, my quote is from one of the better roofers around.

    Seems a bit too high.

    I'm currently buying insulated boards at €25 + vat so 20 boards = €607.60

    Labour for above - €320

Partition walls (built from 70mm metal stud) - €10 per sq m supplied and fitted
Plasterboard for internal stud wall - €6 per sq m supplied and fitted

New ceiling (built in metal frame) - €10 per sq m supplied and fitted
Plasterboard for new ceiling - €6 per sq m supplied and fitted

Insulation approx - €5 per sq m supplied and fitted (150mm rockwool)

    Do the sums!!

    Hope this helps.
