Installing games to HDD

    Hi,

    Not sure if this was covered before, but is it possible to install games onto the PS3 HDD so I don't have to life my lazy as off the couch to change disks? :D

    Nope. Not yet anyway.

    As a feature it wouldn't help you with disks because you'd still need them to pop in and authenticate that you own the game (360 and most PC games do this).

    The purpose of it on the 360 was to speed up loading times (in some cases) and to keep the noise levels down...

    If I could lend you a PS3 game and you could just install it and give it back to me, then Sony would be doing something wrong in fairness!

    Some games it just wouldn't be feasible anyway.

    Most are nearly 10gbminimum with some (although probably only a handful) going up to closer to 20-25 GB.

    what i would LOVE is a multi disc loader. Insert your top 5 games and choose from the xmb which disc to load
