Does anyone know of any UPC cable and broadband blackspot, where you can not get UPC coverage. they are charging me 100 euro cancellation fee even though i will give them 30 days notice and pay for services when i no longer reside in a premise and cant use.

If however i choose to move to an area where upc is not available I dont have to pay the cancellation fee. Any advice? I think I would like to move there. Fair dues to UPC, they do seem to have good coverage and this question has stumped some of my telecom buddies on twitter.

How about Dungarvan in Co. Waterford.
The local franchise there is Casey Cablevision which is not UPC.

Or you could use Newry or anywhere up north.

What? Thats wrong for a start, if you move to an address thats not in their service range you STILL have to pay the 100eur cancellation fee because its your choice to move during your contract min of one year. This has been covered time and time again here but you will find out tomorrow anyway.

Actually I am not wrong as you so strongly put it. I was informed by an UPC employee BRIAN that I would not have to pay a cancellation fee if I moved to a blackspot. Upc do understand that people may move within their first year of contract.

on your other point, apologies for not reading every single thread in relation to UPC and not realising that this was raised before. The seach functionality has been disabled on boards I believe and I havent been keeping up to date with UPC cancellation fees in the past, not my passion.when was the most recent thread? You seem very familiar with the company, are you a UPC moderator or online facilitor?

Eh no? I did say to call them and find out, I'm no expert in NTL just a customer. They are the ones to ask. If they dont charge you well and good.
