Periods gone for over a year ??? worried worried worried

    I am worried beyond belief.

I am 20 and always had irregular periods, but after 6 months and no action I went to my doctor before Xmas, who took bloods and sent me for an ultrasound, yet everything came back normal.

So, after 11 months and still no action, I started a 3 month trial on the Pill, during which I had periods, but now I've been off it for over 7 weeks and still I haven't had a period, which makes it 14 months since I last had one naturally.

I am not sexually active, overweight, or anything like that, so any ideas what might be wrong? My doctor assured me I didn't have Polycystic Ovaries or early menopause, but I can't help but wonder...

I think you should ask your GP to refer you to a Gynaecologist.
