Has anybody any problem with HSE giving you too much allowance. Our daughter is a wheelchair and have been approved for the allowance last February. However we got a letter today saying that we will get back pay from February but she has been reciving the allowance already monthly up to now. This is probably a cockup in the HSE computer system. Should i report it back to the HSE of the error or will they never relised what they have done?

This scheme is now being administered by Department of Social and Family Affairs. They could notice the overpayment - best to be upfront about it. Ring your local office and ask to be transferred to Domicillary Care Section.
