Anybody know where I might find boots like this for a punk costume? Or what other footwear would suffice with a skirt? :o

Uh... Doc Martins from nearly any shoe shop, or try Army Bargains just off Capel Street

Thanks - the reason I want Doc Martin "like" boots is because I can't afford the real deal
    I am smashed :(

Hey! I'm dressing up as a punk for hallowe'en too! :D

Been doing a lot of recon online, and Cons were fairly popular- and Penneys and Dunnes usually have knock offs for pretty cheap of Cons... Don't forget though, the punk thing was all about remaking what you have... do you have a really old pair of shoes at all? you could safety pin them together, or wrap electrical tape around a pair either...

Cut arms into a bin bag and get a belt and you'll be grand

I'm making my own band t-shirt (with an in joke thing, hard to explain!!), skinny black jeans, docs (because I already have them!), poss a tartan skirt (over the jeans), and liberty spikes, that i'm dying bright green.

As for accessories, I'm going with a padlock on a chain, studded bracelets (great ones in the mens dept in penneys atm!) and i'll draw some tattoos on with marker.

It is a pretty cheap costume, i have most stuff already! :D
