I didnt realise ye were still doing bjj up in athy,I remember having mick aldridge down to wexford for a seminar and even a tournament around 1997 /98.i stopped training myself shortly after and only restarted a couple of years ago.Michael had to have been the first person in ireland to practice bjj, even before john kavanagh.Think he told me he started in LA with rickson.

Yup we are the longest running bjj club in ireland, Mick got his blue belt from rickson and only recently got his purple belt from rodrigo:)

Going on the numbers who turned up each week when I trained there Mick doesn't need any new recruits but it will certainly help promote the club.
