Ive tried to eat porridge in the last ferw weeks but find it horrible, ive added loads of stuff and still no joy,the same with weetabix, any other healthy cereal options or other breakfast ideas would be welcome. How about wholegrain toast, what could i eat for protein

Have you tried some eggs? Boiled, scrambled, poached, omelette?

Great for protein and really versatile!

I got onto porridge myself a couple of months ago - absolutely love it now. For me I make it with water and mix with some honey and cranberries.

You can make pancakes with the oats & an egg to get protein in too, most people seem to like them. I have them all the time. Read more tips & ideas etc here

I also sometimes make french toast with wholemeal bread.

If you got a blender you can make a smoothie and clean up in about 5-10 mins. I get little containers of frozen blueberries/mixed berries -use as much as you want, add a banana, pineapple/mango any other fruit you like and some orange juice and its really nice and filling. You can add whey protein to it too and its easy to take (chocolate flavour mightn't go well with fruit though).
If im in a hurry I just grab an apple/banana and brazil nuts are great for protein.

How about a good quality museli with an extra sprinkling of nuts for more protein, or Quinoa, which is a complete protein grain, just boiled up like porridge and add dried fruit and seeds and nuts (yyyyummmm) to it...oooorrrrrrrrrr good ould beans on wholegrain toast or millet, done again like quinoa, or fruit and natural yougart with more sprinkles or various nuts and seeds.......Im a big fan of breakfast! :)
