Does anyone know what happened to the Hapkido club in Mullingar arts centre. Have they packed it in altogether or just moved somewhere else in the area. Contacted the arts centre and they said they haven't booked in since before the summer.

The guy who ran those classes (and the related kickboxing club) has packed it in entirely as far as I know. One of his students was running a Filipino stick-fighting class around Kinnegad or thereabouts, if you could track him down he might have more info.

Is his number, I contacted them myself and they said he now teaches closer to where he lives in Longford.

I'm having the exact same problem... Hapkido over here is taught in very obscure places that are hard to get to or in a place that is just too far away.

I found out the only places in Ireland are:
    Tramore, Waterford
    Bray, Wicklow
    Cork City, Cork
    Nenagh, Tipperary

and no where else so far.

It's a joke that there aren't any listed places in Dublin for this martial art... a city of over a million people.

    Thanks Da Brow.
That actually suits me better as I live in Longford.:D
Do you know where in Longford he teaches now. What is the instructors name?

Pat McHale is his name... He was on an episode of RTE's "How Long will you live"

That's all I know sadly, I live in Dublin so I wouldn't know that direction well.

I'd just give him a call and see if he still teaches.... If you can confirm if he knows of school in my direction that'd be much appreciated.
