I don't know if this is the correct forum to put this in but I want to know what people's favorite apple varieties are?
    Mine are
    • Pink Lady
    • Sundowner
    • Fuji
    • HoneyCrunch
    • Granny Smith
    • Cox
    • Elstar
    • Katy
and a whole lot more besides.

Pink Lady, nom nom! Clearly the tastiest, hence the most expensive :( Granny Smith and the like are too acidic.

Pink lady too, but actually I discovered Cripps Pink in Dunnes which are a little cheaper, slightly bigger and taste just as good!

Braeburn or Cox Pippins, full of flavour, not too sweet (like me) :D

They're actually the same variety. The Cripps Pinks are the ones that weren't 'good' enough to get the pink lady brand.
I find it easier to get organic Cripps Pink rather than Pink Ladys so lately I've been buying more of them than Pink Ladys.

Granny Smith or Cox's Pippin. It's got to be crunchy and green for me.

I like Braeburn, but only if super crunchy. Sometimes you get a few duff ones that are softer and they're not half as nice.
