Toshiba satellite A300-1mc windows failed to start

    Hi

    Installed Office 2007 now laptop wont boot up
    Getting Message
    Window failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix the problem:

    1 Insert your windows installation disc and restrt your computer.
    2 Choose your language settings and then click Next
    3 Click "repair your comtuter.

    If you do not have disc contact administrator or manufacturer.

    File \Boot\BCD

    Status 0x000000f

    info AN error occurred while attempting to read the boot comfiguration data.

    I do not have a recovery disk.
    As far as I know this machine is supposed to have an on board recovery, but so far I have not been able to get any joy.
    Can some one please help.
