    Hi Everyone,

I would just like to know if anyone has had their wedding reception in the Keadeen Hotel. We are getting married in october 2011 and would like some feedback on it.Was their service up to standard and was your day the experience you wanted. We are hoping to have roughly 120 guests. We are on a budget and would like to know were their wedding packages reasonable enough.i have asked for the hotel to send me a brochure but i am still waiting to recieve it!or do you recommend any other hotels in the kildare area.

    thanks guys :)

was at a wedding in the keadeen, it was lovely, the food is gorgeous, was also at one in the kilashee-it was ok but not a patch on the keadeen. good choice :)

I went to have a look, it's not a huge hotel and they had 2 weddings on the day I was there. With the guests mixing in reception.

I didn't bother going any further with my query after that because I'd prefer not to have another wedding on (or at least have the guests seperated) but if that doesn't bother you, as far as I know it's a lovely hotel.

We had our wedding in September this year in the Keadeen, we had a brilliant day, there was another wedding in the hotel but they were the other end of the hotel from us so we didn't even notice they were there. The food was excellent, we're stil getting compliments from our guests and the room looked beautiful (we were in the ballroom). They were so brilliant to deal with coming up to the wedding and on the actual day they took everything in hand and ran it all like clockwork. We chose the Keadeen because it's a small family run hotel with an excellent reputation and we got a great feeling for it when we went to visit. PM me if you have any other questions

I've worked in the hotel many times over the years and i have to say i've found it mainly positive.....but the idea of 2 weddings put me off when we were booking our own wedding.

On your wedding day you don't want your bride fighting for attention from the hotel.

BUT it is a lovely venue, with lovely gardens and nice food.
