Just you. You're noticing it more now you're (getting) old. You'll start correcting their grammar and eat barley sugars soon.

I see no hope for the future of our people if they are dependent on
frivolous youth of today, for certainly all youth are reckless beyond
words... When I was young, we were taught to be discreet and
respectful of elders, but the present youth are exceedingly wise
    disrespectful and impatient of restraint

    So, no, It's just you.

The music is too loud, they answer the elders back, you walked to school in your bare feet.......

Heh. I've always been the grammarian. Even at their age. Although I'm 30, but still get ID'd. Maybe they feel we're on the same wavelength and hope I enjoy their childish antics and boorish witterings. Hmm.

Most of the time I think the young whipper snappers are exactly as I was when I was their age.

Though it feels like there are way more scumbags around... and scarily, some of them aren't exactly "youths" anymore.

What's wrong with barley sugars? I eat them all the time and I'm in my 20s.

Wethers Original are also the shizzle!

It was overplayed an awful lot when it was on that Budweiser ad but I've grown to actually quite like it again. So no - I don't think it's more abrasive these days.

Kids these days are soft and scared these days. All tough in their groups going around throwing missiles at innocent passerby's, but peel one off like a lioness splits up a herd of gazelles and you'd beat the f**king sh1t out of them. Hypothetically speaking of course.

    Socrates

“The children now love luxury; they have bad manners, contempt for authority; they show disrespect for elders and love chatter in place of exercise. Children are now tyrants, not the servants of their households. They no longer rise when elders enter the room. They contradict their parents, chatter before company, gobble up dainties at the table, cross their legs, and tyrannize their teachers.”

This Socrates lad - he lived in Dublin 7 I bet.

Looking at the ancient quotations, I believe that the one thing in this universe that is truly a constant is the rudeness of youth, we all just grow more cranky and less tolerant with age. We also get jelous of the fact that the hunnies just keep getting hotter and more willing to put out in public places.

    God dam those scallywags.

The young folk I tend to get along with are usually more mature in their ways, a bit boring by the standards of their peers I would wager.

The rest I find to be boorish cretins with the manners of factory farmed pigs.
