Belgian License

My girlfriend has a belgian license, she has it for about 3 years. I want to get her insured on my car next month. Should this effect the premium? She doesn't want to hand up the license, but is there any law saying which states she needs an irish licence after a while? I often hear of people changing their license after 6 months. Not sure about this really. Thanks in advance :)

Brilliant, thanks for the info. The premium I can find out off them, but every question I ask them, I get the following reply "oh that doesn't really change your premium"... why ask the question then???
