Weekly Tournaments ~ Kildare/Dublin

    Hi,

    I am new to boards.ie so I realy hope this post will not annoy anyone. I was just wondering if anyone has information about weekly tournaments that are held in the kildare area?

    I usually enjoy pub tournaments but find that they are rarely held anymore. I used to play in a few weekly's in my local pubs but they have stopped.

    Hopefully people might be able to help me out in finding a few regular games.

    There are card rooms in both maynooth and celbridge that run regular tourneys

    I seen the Celbridge one online. You know if its any good? Like is it well run or get good numbers?

    Didnt know about the one in Maynooth. I may check that out

    The one in Maynooth is a small club with 2 tables but really make you feel welcome..

    There is also a club in naas called the LOFT and it runs nightly tourneys as well.

    The new river club is open in newbridge and it is getting good report but I havn't been.

    Only a short spin up the road is my own favourite Fitzpatricks in Tallaght at the Plaza hotel... This is run by Luke Ivory a well respected card room manager and all round good guy! I recommend Tue nights for a 30 euro freezeout that gets about 40-50 players and Fridays which is a 50 freezeout. both these are super structures for the buy in and a lot more play than any pub tournie you'll ever play.

    they have a tourney every day in celbridge THE POKER ROOM . bar wednesdays its cash games only best cash nights in ireland.

    We run a game in The Milltown Inn, 3 mile from newbridge on monday(€25) and wednesday(€30) nights at 8pm. About 50 players on mondays and 30 on wednesdays. All new players made very welcome.
