cannot get sky remotes to work.

I have 2 sky remotes here, a rev6 grey coloured one and a chinese clone, I do not have the original remote. the chinese remote will not work but i can program it to work the TV functions,not too worried about the chinese one but I would like to get the grey one to work for me, its rev 6. have tried resetting it and this

To reprogram the sky remote to control the sky+ box.

The sequence is:

* TV
* Hold Blue+select until LED flash twice
* 2
* Select
* Sky

Now the sky remote up and down channel buttons change the channels on a sky+ box.

To revert back, enter this sequence again but press the zero button instead of "2".

so far it still wont respond though.
