Has she been wormed yet ?? and what food exactly are you feeding her ?

Not wormed yet. She gets whiskas.

If she's not been wormed yet - then might she have worms? Perhaps a trip to the vets - is she due worming?

Although cats love milk, don't give it to her, that can cause diarrhoea. I once tried the cat milk, and that was worse for some reason. They should only be given water.

+1 on the water, not milk.

You might consider changing her food too. Whiskas is quite far down the list of choice cat foods ideally.

Try Hills, Science Plan or Royal Canin, or similar from your vet or pet store.

She only gets water and she's due to be wormed next weekend. Maybe we'll change her food and see what happens. Don't think she has worms.

Give him white cooked rice and stop feeding him milk.

This! If you change her food, do it gradually or you could upset the poor kittens stomach and be back where you are now.

If the scuts persist, bring the kitten to the vet. She may have a bug and when they are young it can cause some problems (other than the obvious)

Do not give the cat white cooked rice. Whatever about settling the stomach of a dog or a person, white rice has absolutely no nutritional value and a kitten of 16 weeks cannot afford to go a couple of days with nutritionally value-less food. (The shelter took in a kitten once that had the runs - she was very young, and her owner had fed her white rice and lactose-free kitten milk for a week. She nearly died of dehydration and malnutrition.)

Change her food type to a high quality kibble with a high quality commercial wet and try her on some raw (ask the butcher for a handful of pre-chunked casserole beef and cut a chunk into three or four small pieces. Offer them to her and see how she goes on them.)

Regarding worms - virtually all kittens have worms. Even the healthiest, most robust looking kittens who have never been outside can have them - when in doubt, worm them and then worm them again a month later! From six months or so onwards, you can drop the worming to every three months, but from eight weeks onward, with a caveat for the general weight and health of the kitten, you should worm once a month. Use a broad spectrum wormer and if you can find one designed for kittens, all the better.

If she has the runs then take her to the vet.
