Took the plunge and bought the game earlier in the week, installed the most recent patch and fired it up. Was running well until I jumped into a MP game and then all of sudden I get massive graphics issues, whenever I glance at a vehicle the screen goes to sh1t. Also when i close down the game while coming out of MP my pc actually shuts down.

Anyone have any ideas what's going on ? I'll download the latest drivers and whatnot when I get a chance.

Whats your full specs? Where on Your pc is the game installed (c drive etc)? What resolution and graphics settings?

There are many things You can do to help optimise this game, have a read of thse:

This game is not like other games and is very cpu and hd intensive. Having the game installed on a drive other than Your OS helps. Overclock Your cpu if possible also. Video memory setting 'Default' uses the value in Arma2.cfg. 'Very High' is 512mb, therefore 'Default' will actually be higher if your card has more than 512mb vram. Another unusual one for this game, Shadow setting 'Very High' usually offers better performance than 'High'
