    Hi Guys,

You might have seen this on Gearslutz but just in case.

Audiomidi are selling Applied Acoustic Sytems Ultra Analog VA1 for a tenner. Usually costs 199 Dollars.

It's a virtual analog synth. It's going down very well with the Slutz:D

    Rock

    Demo link http://redirectingat.com/?id=690X1299&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.applied-acoustics.com%2Fultraanalog%2Ftrial%2F

Note. The link goes to AAS where the synth costs 226 Dollars. Don't buy it there, go to the Audiomidi website instead.

Super, thanks! I'm finding Gearslutz very tedious these days, so I don't see the good stuff.

Yeah, It's a bit less well mannered than our own little paddling pool.

The MP forum feels like the local pub whereas GS is a bit like the M50 at rush hour.

No problem. You can't go wrong for a tenner.

It takes a few days for the authorization code to come through, I only got mine yesterday. 4 days after I paid for the thing.

    Rock.

+1. Reading it, one might thing that it doesn't make any sense to even try recording any music at home, even for ****z'n'giggles, without a collection of boutique high-voltage tube preamps and custom-modded microphones :)

The offer is just unbelievable - though, having just bought Komplete 6, I'll pass this time :D

many thanks for the head's up on this, my credit card details have been entered.

perfect timing as I was looking for a new soft synth to spice up a track I'm writing about what went wrong while I was on the Lake Geneva shoreline recording and the place went on fire :D

    is this offer over?

is it a good synth or if i have the arturia stuff already is there much point in getting this?

    Sean,

I have Arturia too, I find it very heavy on the old cpu so I don't use to many instances of it. The AAS has fewer presets but seems to be more tweakable than the Arturia.

You can't go wrong for a tenner to be honest.

The deal is still on per the Aufiomidi website.

    Rock.

Thanks OP. Bought it, downloaded it, registered it, played it. Midi control appears very intuitive. Sounds ok with my windcontroller but needs tweaking to bring out the best in it. Had great fun faffing about with it with a controller keyboard last night though. For a tenner, I am a very happy bunny.
If this was available before I bought SonikSynth2 by IKmultimedia (which I really like for the combo patches etc) then i may have saved myself a couple of hundred euro.
    Thanks for the heads up.

also bought it, downloaded it, registered it, played it for much of last night and am thrilled with it, plenty of scope to tweak and mash, best tenner I've spent in ages, thanks again mate.

    No problem Gregg.

Maybe we should our own "Bargain Alerts" for the music production/Dance forum.

Paul could get the ball rolling by giving us all a 50% discount on Bass Amp Room:D

If you already have Ableton Live Suite and more specifically the Analog synth, you already have this synth (with a different GUI). Very capable VA synth, prefer the Ableton style interface but if you don't have Analog then it's a no brainer at $15.

Still wouldn't stem my DSI Tetr4 lust though, anybody got one yet ?
