    fuel pump itself cost €60

and we had a friend who is a mechanic put it in for us but it dosent take long at all.

it can be finished within 40mins

So I'm probably looking at about 100 from a one man show or possibly nearer 150/200 in a main dealer?

Was that a new fuel pump or a second hand one?

    Thanks for the quick reply.

the main dealer will charge way too much.

the fuel pump was brand new

ask a garage e.g micks garage .ie and see how much they would charge for the entire job, advanced pitstop are expensive too.

or if you could get the part your self and get someone to fit it for you, or hell even fit it your self, not that hard to do.

first pic is off the old fuel pump that was taken out, also to show size it put it next to my tv remote. its a lil heavy and can still smell petrol off it after a year.

the second pic is just the box of the new one. :)

It's under the back seat indeed.

Fold the base seat over and remove any covering until to get metal with screws to undo and it's right there
