    Hi

Does anyone know anyone that will insure a car for a day? It's a bit of an emergency and I'm probably asking a bit much looking today for something I need tomorrow.

    Any help appreciated.

Do you have your own insurance that you could transfer over.

I know of some people that used to insure a car online, you're insured straight away, and then not pay up. I assume they give you 14 days or something to pay.

Transfer is an option but would rather have seperate insurance as any vehicle that I could transfer from will be in use tomorrow, it's the county final here in offaly and we have a car painted up. It's has NCT and all, its just a last minute thing we remembered.

You can add a second vehicle to a policy too, it is called a "temporary additional" in insurance speak.
They may charge you a few quid to do it though but not a whole pile, obviously depends on your insurance comapny.

Few we rang would not add a new car today for coverage tomorrow so we just moved insurance form one car to another. Cheers anyway.
