    Hi everyone,

Just being having a goo at this thread and im interested...

ill you my story im living in a house in a rural area - theres 2 of us in the house and its 550 a month altogether (which is brill i know) .

we are living here 6 months..

are we eligible for a rent reduction seen as it has come down?

i mean, to be fair, money is very tight at the mo as we're both unemployed now and only bringing in one dole allowance a week.

    i would appreciate any advice.

    thank you

Ask and you shall receive ;)

Sure you might as well give it a go and ask your landlord

You are entitled to one rent review per year, but no harm asking.

Are you claiming you full entitlements, including rent allowance?

Why not, but being eligible to ask for a reduction also makes you eligible for a refusal - worth a try though, whats the worst that could happen?

    g'd luck.
