Fear of Mice

Search function is down so I hope this is not too much of a repeat question, I went back a few pages and did not see anything.

My wife has a phobia of mice and its proving to be a problem, given the time of year we are at there are more of them about.

Her phobia is so bad that when she seen a mouse in the house last week she froze, I had to lift her from the chair to the table as she could not move. What compunds the fear is that we have a small son and she is terified that if she was holding him and seen a mouse she is not sure how she would react and is very afraid she could drop him or something similar.
Even though the house is relativly mouse free compared to any house and we have traps everywhere, electronic repellent devices, mouse/rat poision outside she cannot relax this time since she seen one inside and agrees she needs help with the phobia.

    What do people recommend?
