    hey

I am doing my dissertation and one of the key aims is to do a cost benefit report on a small scale wind turbine on a rural dwelling. Does anyone know anyone who has installed a small scale wind wind turbine????

If so, the information ill be looking for will be the energy consumption/cost pre installation and post installed, along with the cost for part and labour of installing the wind turbine and finally the specs of equipement used.

Email me: gavincoyne@gmail.com if you can help me out

    Thanks

On a similar topic, anyone have any experience of installing a micro hydro turbine?

We had a hydraulic water ram working on a stream until a number of years ago and are considering replacing this (pump water only) or else attempt to go the whole hog and look at hydro in more detail. I know for hydro head high is probably a more important factor than flow.
