    Hi, i bought a car recently but it doesnt tell me how cold it is outside and i do a lot of driving early in the day in the winter time when it can be frosty......is there anywhere i can buy a car thermometer that will display the road temperature outide for me?

    Would you not be better off just buying a ground thermometer and reading it before you set off every morning?

    Halfords have them, any motor factors will sell them.

    Lidl do them every so often. They display internal and external temp. I think it beeps in subzero temperatures.

    i live near the sea, the ground temperature is always a few degress higher than when i drive inland when it can get a lot colder and icy
