    I don't know if he's the best character but I really enjoyed Qwark in Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction. Hadn't played any of the other ratchet and clank games, but I found Tools of Destruction to be one of the few games that I really enjoyed the cut scenes and laughed out loud watching. Felt very Pixar-esque.

    There's some good characters in Fallout 3 too, and some really annoying ones.

    If he's in the video game of Up, Dug the Dog wins hands down, because he's become one of my favourite characters ever since I saw the film :P

    I was never a fan of the MGS games but I loved Uncharted, so Nathan Drake gets my vote, the character's just funny!

    Drakes a great Character, and so is Raiden in MG3 only! Just cus he looks as cool as ****. Its snake in MGS snake eater though hands down.

    Tommy Verciti for pS2. Also Batman deserves a mention.

    Exactly, but the topic of the thread is best character. Just because a game is good it doesnt mean the character instantly is, Soap himself is a bland character. And name doesnt factor in either ;).
