Hi Feel free to re post if necessary.

Hi what is the best night club to go to on a Friday night that has a good size dance floor, not too crowded, with a good mix of music to suit all tastes that has a free entry and not too expensive drinks? No rubbish places, rubbish people, no attitudes, no kids etc....

*waits for someone to say 'Barcode'*

EDIT: Damn. Someone said it before I got there! Pfff.

    edit: Pah.. feckers..

Seriously though, I was in D2 on Harcourt Street last week and it was fairly good, decent mix of people and music genres..

I don't go out in town much these days and most of the places I used to frequent are either closed down or have changed management.. The Palace on Camden Street used to be good with a fairly decent crowd.. Dublin Forum might be more fruitful on this one though..

I'm not sure any night club in Dublin is free in at weekends, to be honest - or offers drink promos.
The Playhouse in Tallaght is 5 euro in and 3 euro drinks... They've been handing out flyers in my college!
21s might be another option... although, very young crowd in there.

There's a good club in Dublin?

There's no club in Dublin that fits all your criteria. I'm not one to bash Ireland but it's seriously **** for clubbing. Tripod, Wax, the Button Factory, ALT, The Academy and The Twisted Pepper can all be alright but none of them are cheap.

I heard a fellow there talk in the manner of the blue-collared proletariat this weekend past. It was a most distressing experience.

Ri-Ra is tiny, but it can be a good night. Particularly if you get in free from the Globe. Have you tried Sinnotts at Stephen's Green shopping centre? I know it's probably more pub than club, but it has a good mix of music and there's always a good vibe on the dance floor. You'll even get seats and a table!

    Right so -

    - Big
    - Great music that everyone loves
    - Free in
    - Cheap Drink
    oh and..
    - Not crowded (despite the above)

    hmmm.. Right. Thats likely.

Maybe find out where this place is?

Ri Ra is very good!and the globe is great for drinking beforehand.and if you dont like it you are already on a great street for other places so wont have to walk far to find another good spot

Edit:in saying that i much prefer a night in than a night out so maybe dont take advice from me...

You do have to pay for some club nights though but you can have a pretty decent night in Ri Ra.

I am sick of everywhere these days.

Well in fairness - if anyone had posted this in AH about Galway, Cork or any other town/city in Ireland it would never have gotten to the 2nd page and the OP would have received a warning from the mods......
