Frequencies for NTL Analogue in Dublin

    Hello all,

I recently upgraded to Windows 7 and while the interface in the new media centre is great, I've lost a couple of channels, namely Channel 4, TG4 and Discovery from my NTL analogue lineup. Can anyone provide the frequencies so I can add them manually. The guide listings show up alright, but I just get static when I tune them in.

    Thanks,

    DMC

It sounds like Windows 7 or the TV tuner card drivers aren't picking up channels on the VHF frequency (all these channels were originally below 87MHz, but are now usually also duplicated up in the high UHF range in areas with upgraded cable).

Your best bet is to do a full rescan.

Ch 4 is at 56 mhz and 543mhz.
Discovery is at 48mhz and 575mhz.
TG4 is at 208MHz but I assume you meant E4.
    E4 is at 64MHz and 471MHz.

Did a full rescan work? I tried entering the channels and frequencies manually, but Media Center would not accept the frequencies for C4 or Discovery.

    It accepted E4 alright.
