The catalogue just came in the door, and was just having a flick through it. Has anyone got any tried and tested recommendations. They are doing a huge range of cosmetics as well as clothes jewelery and underwear! I know Avon has been around for years, are there any products boardsies always stock up on? The Reese Witherspoon perfume smells lovely, and you get a free bag! Any suggestions?

Used to sell Avon a couple of years ago. They have some lovely stuff and always do great deals on the shampoos, conditioners, body lotions, shower gels etc. I kind of stick to my own make up but they do good mascaras and lip gloss. Have tried a few of their foundations but wasnt really into them. The underwear is always lovely and they do good gift ideas for kids at Christmas. Theres a brown sugar body scrub and body butter they used to do its gorgeous!!

I just got the Reese Witherspoon perfume and it is lovely, I really like it and use it all the time! I also use a lot of the avon eyeshadows, I find them to be really good

The shower gels are lovely and fruity, but the shampoo is awful, never lathers up well at all!

They often do great nik-naks coming up the Xmas too, watch out for the Xmas brochure.

I'm with Cookie Jar on the eyeliners and mascaras. I like to stock up on those. OH, and the lip balm -- they're so cheap, and I like to keep one tube in every purse/bag that I have, especially during the winter.

Any make-up I've tried has been pretty decent.
That catalogue is a tempting hussy! :pac:

They do a moisturiser which if you are going walking in the hills or anywhere there are Midges it is ABSOLUTELY Brilliant!!! It works as the best bug repellant I have ever used!!

I'm too impatient. I need to go in to a shop, see what takes my fancy, bring it home and use it. The whole ordering and waiting for it to arrive would annoy me.

I am a big fan of their shower gels and hand wash. Don't like their shampoo.
Am allergic to their foundation - even their mineral makeup doesn't agree with me. Have a few friends who swear by it though.
A few months back I got a fab Oasis watch for 15 euro I think.
I have stopped looking at the catalogue though because I just want to buy everything and end up never using it.

I love the ordering and waiting bit - it's like you get a present when it finally arrives in the post!

I am currently waiting for CDs, shoes, clothes and jewellry to come in the post... I can't wait!!

It's the small thrills, I guess.

The spectra lash mascara is great - I now use it all the time.
    Highly recommend it!

I have to agree with other posters, it's so addictive! Plus I love when the stuff arrives - I get ridiculously excited :D

The Meadow Dew perfume is lovely - it's very light and fresh for daytime and it was only €6 or something. Also, the Colourtrend Lip Gloss is good and the shower gels are great value.

They normally have good special offers too.

I'm looking forward to the christmas catalogue.

Yeah they have pretty decent stuff. Especially coming up to Christmas.
Also for anyone that like eyeliner, their eyeliner is amazing.

It's 3.75 (last time I checked) & lasts for aaages cos it's the length of a pen or something.

    & the perfumes too :D

Sure, it's only €6, and that's half price and that...... It adds up to ALOT.

I love Avon, have to limit myself to what i spend though. There's an Avon lady on my estate, but she's never come to my house though. I have to borrow it of his mum.

The eyliners are great and last ages, the eye shadow is always good as well

We never get Avon catalogues :( I really wish we did but then again I would probably spend too much!!!

Don't like them at all, nothing I got was what I expected, definitely won't be ordering anymore.
