Hi, I just bought a new 40 inch Sony LCD tv and I was tuning into Sky and thought it was broadcast in digital, but could not find any frequencies on digital so I tried analog and then found the Sky channel, although I have the TV up and running I was wondering can anyone tell me should I be receiving Digital or Analog from Sky and are they supposed to change (as I hear all the others are changing, Chorus, NTL etc.,) to digital.
thanks in advance for any info
    regards
    Pauge 2:

If you have a Sky satellite box, the best way to connect it to your TV is using a SCART cable.
If you have Sky HD then HDMI is better.

A sky box also outputs an analogue tv signal for people who do not have SCART, it sounds like that is what you found.

The "Digital" on your TV is probably for Digital via your TV Ariel, which has not officially launched in Ireland yet.

Thanks Mark for that info, yes I do have a Sky satellite box, and as I haven't relocated the TV to its permenent position yet I just ran a coaxal cable from it to the TV, so your are correct, I hope to install it properly later today and I will use the scart lead, thanks for you prompt reply, very helpful
