Brendan Drumm and his 70,000euro

    I am not a frequent user of boards.ie, but i felt that i had to express my frustration at Minister for Health, Mary Harney. She claims she could not intervene on expenditure within the HSE and Mr.Drumm's 70,000 euro!!Yet, she approved the introduction of what was to be a new, improved patient record computer system worth 12 million euro (of taxpayers money), which was never implemented!!I wonder has she taken a visit to her nearest Accident and Emergency lately and seen how patients have to deal with a sub-standard service (relative to Europe), where patients have to climb over other patients to use toilet facilities and nurses are being stretched beyond their limits? I could go on for hours..but basically the point i am trying to make is: GET HER OUT!!

    Whatever about the HSE, the RTE salaries are a disgrace and way in excess of Drumm's. FFS, Pat the Plank getting nearly a million and payoing little or no tax on it. And all on the licence fee?
