Need help identifying an old programme

Anybody remember a short lived scary/thriller series on ITV in the mid to late 80’s, not Armchair Thriller, not Tales of the Unexpected and not Chiller (from the 90’s) but similar. All I remember is the opening credits, which had a animation of a house / window sill with a flower pot sitting on it, and someone whistling, then creepy music sets in and the flower wilts…I also remember one episode that was set in a old English public school and involved a pupil or maybe even a teacher getting tied up by bullies in a changing room and then an anonymous killer coming in and killing them while they were defenceless. Ring a bell (no pun intended) with anyone?..
