You know 5.1 speakers are just not the same when you've 5 speakers sitting on my TV stand next to a PS3 and 37" 1080P telly.

My sound system (Creative Inspire T6100) needs an upgrade but for the time being, any chance ye have speaker stands going cheap? Need 2 (for rear right and rear left). Will find out how tall they need to be later but they'll need to be level or slightly above my couch. Might need delivery to Sligo too.

I've been trying to find worthwhile speaker stands for my T6100. Cheap and cheerful will do because when I upgrade my sound system, they'll probably be obselete.

Not sure if ye even sell them so let me know.

    Bas,

Apologies for the delay in getting back to you - and you should be ashamed of yourself appearing in this forum if all your 5 5.1 speakers are all sitting on your TV stand! ;)

We do these ARC 1268 but they may prove to be a bit expensive for the 6100 - I can do them at £41.99 a pair if you are interested??

    Keep me posted,

    ATB,

    Cheers John...

But will probably just pick up these in Argos.. probably not great but they're just cheap and cheerful for the T6100's.

You'll probably get me back here within 10 - 12 months wanting to buy a better sound system and stand anyways! :D

Well.. decided against those in Argos.

Reviews for them are shocking and would probably like to invest in something that could do me for the future as well.

    So back to you John!

The ARC 1268 don't look bad but I've a couple of problems.

If possible, I need to fit speaker stands behind a couch It shouldn't be a problem with the height of the base but a more slender (and if possible curved) pole would be preferable. Like these:

    Anything similar to this?

If not, the ARC 180 seems to be more slender (and slightly curved) anyways. Can you give me a price on these?
