    Hello all...

Just posting to pick everyone's brains on their knowledge of Dublin.

There is a couple of us trying to set up a roller derby league in Dublin at the moment and we desperately need to find a practice space. At the moment, we are praticing in the Spin Roller rinks and though while this is fine for the moment, they are open to the public and play horrendously bad pop music which is fun but not suitable for drills or training.

What would be ideal would be a large hall, sports, community or otherwise, who are not too precious about their floor covering and are willing to accept waivers. Monet is, of course, another issue as there si very little available.wink.gif So the cheaper the better.

Any suggestions of suitable practise areas would be very much appreciated.

    Cheers all!

(And for those who are curious as to what the hell I am talking about...

Oh and of course...anyone who is interested do please come along...new recruits are always welcome. Skating ability non-essential, most of us havent been in years...biggrin.gif

We have indeed and they've been very helpful. Unfortunately the story for them is much the same story for us; there are no facilities here so they play a lot of their matches abroad. Hopefully some of them might be interested and get involved 'secially since they skate on quads.
