Anyone knew where stocks 3T in Ireland? Know Wiggle and Slane do but hoping for somewhere round Dublin and surronding counties that carry their stuff.

    Thanks.

Never seen them in Dublin. But Slane are very good. I buy a lot from them these days.

They have got great reviews from people here alright, looking at the seat post and the they seem not to have any set back, which is what i'm after but would like to have a look at them in person rather than just looking at photos, also need a new stem after a bike fitting so hence will prob buy altogether. Need to bibs tights or 3/4 length so might take a trip up some day and see if i can do a deal.

    Thanks!

There are very easy to find, and Paul & Andy are sound. Takes me an hour and ten from Drogheda and the roads are good.

I'm from close to Slane (Co. Meath, not to be confused with where the bike shop is) so it wouldn't take long to get there alright, roads are good alright, but there is generally a queue at Newry and this will only get worse in the next couple of months with xmas coming.
Was hoping there was somewhere in Dublin area that I could pop into on a Thursday evening is all.
But not to worry i'll pop up there in the next while.

Hope to be buying my next bike from Slane Cycles...not for a while though. I've bought bits and bobs off them before and have been very impressed, especially when I ordered the wrong size and had to send it back. it was my mistake but they didn't charge me twice for shipping and were great to deal with by email.

The 3T Doric ( listed on Slanes Website ) has no setback but the new 3T Dorico does (could they have named it any closer ?? ), just dont know if its actually available yet, give them a bell before you go up there just in case.

Well currently have the saddle very far forward as the frame is a tad on the big side so the no set back would be fine! The fact a new one is coming out may mean the old could be cheaper!

I doubt it, they have been trying to bring out a setback one for the past year, the Palladrio or something, had some patented design, but it got sh!tcanned by the test riders so they went with yer run of the mill carbon tube, alu clamp jobbie instead. Its not a replacement for the Doric though.

The clamp on the Doric ( zero setback one ) is a bit fiddly, but once you're setup, its grand and weight weenie light !! ;)

Looks like he tricked his wife into buying him a frame instead of a wedding ring :)

I'm jealous (of the ring....not his wife!)

The furrowed brow and asymmetrical foot placement suggests that Colnago frame is as overweight as he is. :pac:
