House Season 6 Episode 1 on Sky Anytime

Episode 1 of House Season 6 is on Sky Anytime - until Wed 14 Oct.

If you want to keep it after tomorrow, press RECORD to copy it to your user quota.

Press TV Guide, then press colour button to open Anytime, then find House episode 1, then press RECORD button on remote control.

I tuned in last Sunday to watch episode 1 of House season 6 on Sky1 - as advertised in the Sky mag - and was horrified when it started with "previously on House" - missed the feckin first episode!

Someone told me it was available on Sky Player so I spent tonight getting that stupid thing installed: the registration wouldn't take my Irish mobile number, I had to give it a UK mobile number to get it to let me register. Then the installer didn't work until I did a google search to enable some blessed VB script thingy. Then I had to upgrade a bunch of software. And finally - ta da - you have to pay 2.54 to watch one episode! What a load of rubbish. I'm already paying enough for Sky packages without paying more.

Anyway, it turns out that I misread the message about Sky Player. Episode 1 is on Sky Anytime - that stupid Sky feature that I hate so much because it just uses half the hard disk on my Sky+ box to record a bunch of stuff that I can't watch because I haven't subscribed to Sky Movies, Sky Sports, etc. But for once the stupid yoke hit the mark. Episode 1 is already recorded on my Sky+ box (in Anytime), but it will get erased tomorrow. I have saved it to my user quota (partition) where it will stay until I have viewed it and decide to delete it.

I hope this helps somebody else who missed it too, but there isn't much time left.
