What is the maximum number of sky tv's you can have in one house? Is it possible to link up with a number of other people using a sling box to allow them to use your excess sky boxes for their own benefit and contribute to the overall cost of your sky? Is this legal? Are there any websites or online communities to assist you in doing this?

Using a slingbox for your primary Sky viewing is not practical both cost and quality wise.

Yes, setting this up commercially will be in breach of Sky's terms of service when you purchase from them.

Would it be legal to provide a website aimed at ex-pats which puts ex-pats in touch with people in their home country who want to offer them access to television in their county through sling box or similar technology for a small fee and to charge users a small fee for setting up the arrangement.

Oh I'd really doubt it. At the very least I'd imagine you'd want some sort of commercial subscription from Sky at that point. Besides, I'd imagine there'd be major issues there too regarding the broadcasting rights for TV shows. I think you'd be open to legal action there. I am not a lawyer though but it seems fairly logical that this would be the case.
