eircom cancelled my order without calling.

    So I called eircom last week putting in an order to have our phoneline connected she took all my details and said it would take this week, we then called to get an update and where then told "one the lads" had cancelled it because the address was wrong. which it wasnt, so they have put back the install date once more, i was looking into getting smart which will take another while again to get connected.
    Anyone any advice on what way i could go with getting internet into house etc, does magnet need eircom to setup line but it doesnt need to be switched over?
