    Guys
I got a phone call the other night from a person in the ROI somewhere near Waterford? I was asked if I knew a certain person who was claiming to be an Instructor certified by me or with substantial training time with me, in that vacinity.
I don't have any representatives in the Republic other than my two good friends and Apprentice Instructors Colm Wholley and Declan Breen who teach the self defence programme at the National Rehab Hospital in Dublin.
I someone else is claiming to be one of my Instructors then he is badly mistaken.. Just to give you all the heads up on this issue.

I think there was two guys up in our gym (in Waterford) last night looking for a place to teach JKD. I'll have to tell the boss, how will we know if these lads are cowboys? Although I heard one of them saying to someone that they could break every bone in their body with a single punch. I suppose that proves it then. Yeeeeeeeeehaaaaaaaaaa Cowboy

I'm based in Waterford Martin, haven't heard of any JKD instructors.

I can break every single bone in your body with one punch. All I need is for you to be standing near a cliff edge at the time.

Did anyone stop to think that the guy might have meant one punch per bone? Of course, he could be a cowboy and actually believe he can break every bone with just the single punch.

If a person is a legitimate JKD Instructor or Apprentice then he/she will have proof of substantial training time with a recognised Senior Instructor. They will be very familiar with the JKD curriculum and be able to demonstrate it physically ,mentally,in theory and practice.
JKD is a very small world and we mostly know each other or have heard of someone if they are recognised. There are however a few people who have been known to sell rank and certification.
