Currently there are two of us, both multi instrumentalists. I want to switch our main roles in the band from playing everything to switch to guitars and synths.

As i said in the add we want to collaborate and create melodic music with the new lineup which would be playing a mix of some of our own songs and writing some new songs. As all our songs are instrumental we would also like to work with a vocalist to work vocals into some of them.

When these are in place we are looking to then gig and record these songs.

hey if your up for a collab/teaming up to form a band I would be well up for it.

I created a fairly crude looking myspace in the last few days.

I'm curious Albert - how do you feel about vocoders for vocals?

We tried some vocoder stuff on some tracks and they work well on some stuff i would be interested in using them in some songs/parts. What had you in mind?

Well I was asking from more of a philosophical bent, as I hadn't heard any vocals on your myspace tracks when last I checked and was wondering how your electronic style would interact with vocals. (Also, you said in your thread title that the band would need "your hands", so ostensibly even the vocalist would need to use his/her hands, hence vocoder :-) )

Interesting that you've already played around with vocoder. I'm in a burgeoning band and haven't really thought of introducing vocoder yet. At this point I should probably confine further discussion to PMs in order not to distract readers of this thread from your purpose.

Btw, smur89 is a very solid bassist.
