Is it too late to get tooth implants if you have been using dentures for 20 years, i.e. does one lose the bone in the gum to an extent that there is no support for the implants? i'm asking about front teeth?

If it is for a new removable denture retained by implants or a fixed denture supported by implants in the lower arch, I would say most people would have the bone. If it's the upper jaw then you probably don't have the bone anymore. You may need sinus lifts/ridge augmentation now.
