Get panarama to do an "expose" on you. Frighten them so much that they change the tact of the programme. Rant and rave about what may possibly be in the programme to ensure EVERYONE watches it.

Then watch a 30 minute advert about your airline on BBC.

    Sheer brilliance by O'Leary!

Now, I have my own idea - not as good, but hopefully I'll have the pr stunt ready for Christmas!

You have to respect the man though - if there's free PR to be had he'll be there...

Or be a company like Wellworths in the UK that was the first store to open up out of 800 odd stores that woolworths closed when it went bankrupt and had an hour long documentary made about it that was shown on BBC1 with 4.7 million viewers, then after that have regular interviews with the papers to keep it in peoples minds. Press won't chase you. Go to the press even the local paper, tell them your opening a new store, or doing a promotion or celebrating an anniversary with special offers. Everyone likes good news in a recession. Do something, be proactive

I think he could treat his captains a bit better.

No this doesn't make me "soft" or "too nice". I'm not like that at all.

I just genuinely believe he could treat his staff better. It's just manners really.
