Acer Aspire 5738

Can anyone rate these? I'm thinking of buying one

Laptopsdirect seems to be the cheapest by far. Anyone know cheaper?

I know someone who just got one of these and is very happy with it. They have a nice design, lovely screen, and ok spec. The gpu isn't great, is the only thing, if you want to play games on it at all.
I've heard lots of horror stories about laptops direct though

There probably isn't anywhere else you'd get it as cheap tbh.

So does anyone have recommendations on alternatives or similarly spec'd machines to the Acer!

Picked up an acer aspire 5738Z in argos a few months back with 4 gig of ram and 500gig hard drive for around €550 or so.

I find it to be great for my needs but I would not game on it , have a look here
