    Any opinions?

Looking at the Brazil Fazenda Cachoeira, but wondering about the Brazil Ita Bahia... but maybe there's a another; so much choice!

I seem to remember someone saying that the cahcoeira wasn't the best for espresso before....for what it's worth. It's a pity the search facility is down at the moment. I still think it's the best mug I've ever had. 5 bags of it in my press as evidence. :)

I've been enjoying El Salvador Finca La Fany Bourbon 2009-2010 Crop, but I like ringing the changes, so I don't have any in stock at the moment: must get back to it! Very creamy, sweet and smooth. Great espresso and dilutes to a delicious americano.

Looking at the Brazil Fazenda Cachoeira,

I tried some last week. I thought it was very nice, and judging by how rapidly the tin was emptied, everyone else in the house thought so too.

The Bolivian Machacamarca is very good and certainly worth trying.

Thanks guys... I'm thinking maybe I'll just get a bag of each of the above! Shipping isn't as horrific as I was expecting.

Both of those are just lovely.

Bought a bag of the Sabroso Espresso blend. Looking forward to trying it out and getting back into espresso.

I'm increasingly liking espresso with a more pronounced acidity, so am hoping this one will tick that box (without being too sharp).

With the sterling rate at the moment, I'd recommend just trying things out, what have you too lose. Keep an open mind.

    Ordered:

    - Bolivia Machacamarca BV Maria and Mario Andrade 2009
    - Brazil Fazenda Cachoeira Bourbon 2008-2009 Crop
    - El Salvador Finca La Fany Bourbon 2009-2010 Crop

    Will report my findings :)

Didn't really like the Cachoeira much as an espresso, but am loving the Breakfast Bomb at the moment. Have a bag of the Hasbean Espresso blend but not opened it yet.

Dear sweet teenage Jesus the Finca La Fany is incredible... just simply the nicest espresso I've ever had.

Nearly out of the La Fany (1 weekend!) and I can honestly say it makes incredible espresso... BUT... strangely I don't like it diluted to americano, which is my mainstay. So, onwards to the Cachoeira.

I found it good as an americano, but at least you liked it as espresso, which was what you originally asked about!

lol, very true! Well it’s probably a fairly even split: espresso / americano... but espresso is over too quick, so a really good americano is my dream :)

Tried the Cachoeira tonight, but is not really winning me over. It doesn’t make as sweet an espresso as the Fany, and as an Americano it's lacking also. Would cut well in a latte/cappuccino though, not that I ever bother.
